Early Childhood Program
(3 months through 2 years)
Sunshine DayCare Early Childhood Program focuses on the natural curiosity and energy of very young children. We provide infants and early toddlers with lots of individual attention, the right activities and conversations so that the child's world is always fun, interesting, safe, and most of all warm and loving.
Infants are introduced to activities that promote their sensory, language, cognitive and physical development.
Toddlers are introduced to activities that assist with total development, whether it's stacking and tumbling blocks or playing with felt shapes and puzzles. We encourage individual exploration and introduce skills such as self help, language development and basic skills. We believe that in an environment that supports development, children can explore the early successes they need to grow and develop independence.
Bridge I
(Ages 2 1/2 years - 3 years)
The "Bridge I Program" is a developmental program created to teach a child how to learn and develop a love of learning. Each day is filled with a variety of activities. This program is designed to allow the children to select and initiate activities that will help them develop self-confidence and competence.
Bridge II Program
(Ages 4 years and 5 years)
The Bridge II Program begins when a child reaches four years of age. The program is designed to prepare children for the materials they will learn in kindergarten. Children are provided with many opportunities to promote their growth and development. The Bridge II Program also teaches skills and concepts through projects appropriate for each child's unique development. Overall, the program is a comprehensive learning program that encourages children to explore and learn at their own pace.
Before Care/After-Care Program
(Ages 6 years to 13 years)
Sunshine DayCare has a before-care program from 7:30 am -8:30 am and after-care from 3:00 pm to 5:30pm from Monday - Friday. We provide nutritional meals and a variation of activities to keep the children motivated. We know how valuable a before-care and after-care are for our parents with particular responsibilities.
Summer Camp
Sunshine DayCare conducts a full day summer camp for all children ages 1 year -13 years from July-August. We provide fun filled activities daily and weekly field trips to broaden their outlook and experiences.
